He also emphasized that the Russian army is currently abundant in ammunition, and will continue to destroy all kinds of Western weapons to aid Ukraine!

According to the Russian "Sputnik News Agency", Shoigu stated in a conference call with the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces that the Russian army is actively operating on all fronts in the "special military operation" area.

According to Shoigu's statistics, the Russian army destroyed 8 Ukrainian fighter planes, 277 drones, 430 tanks and armored vehicles, 18 multiple rocket launchers, 225 barrel artillery and mortars.

He stressed that the Russian army will continue to "destroy the weapons provided by the West to the Ukrainian army".

Shoigu also said that the Russian army currently has sufficient ammunition to carry out effective firepower strikes against the enemy.

"Compared to the beginning of 2022, the purchase of basic weapons is 2.7 times higher than last year, and the purchase of urgently needed weapons is 7 times higher than last year," he said.

Shoigu pointed out that the supply of weapons and ammunition is the key to how the Russian army operates. Therefore, the task of military industrial enterprises is to quickly speed up production.

Overall, the military industry meets the needs of the Army and Navy, while the Tactical Missile Weapons Group (KTRV) needs to double its production of precision-guided weapons in the shortest possible time, he said.
