[Reporter Cai Qinghua/Kaohsiung Report] Grandpa surnamed Wang of a care center in Kaohsiung City, in July 2008, saw a wheelchair-bound grandma slipping off the wheelchair in the lobby of the institution. He immediately hugged grandma from behind, and the two sides were in a stalemate About 20 seconds later, Wang was accused of taking the opportunity to touch Grandma's breasts and sued the court for being indecent. He was so angry that he wanted to run away at one point. He is not guilty and can appeal.

The indictment pointed out that Wang Nan and the handicapped grandma were both residents of the long-term care center for the elderly. At about 7:15 p.m. Stretching out his hand to touch his breasts, the staff of the care center discovered that the defendant was charged with the crime of indecent behavior against the woman by taking advantage of her physical barriers and being unable to resist.

Wang Nan denied committing the crime, and believed that he was misunderstood when he originally wanted to help. On that day, he was so angry that he carried his luggage and wanted to keep going out, but the staff couldn't pull it back even if they wanted to.

The employee of the care center who testified in court claimed that at that time, he saw the defendant hugging the grandma in the wheelchair from behind, about 3 meters away, and stopped her. The defendant said that he was going to help her up, but did not touch her chest , once said that he witnessed the defendant touching his chest from behind, but afterwards, he said that he could not confirm the position of the frontal touch.

The Qiaotou District Court held that the testimony of the witnesses was flawed and lacked other evidence to reinforce each other. The evidence presented by the prosecutor was not enough to prove that the defendant had indeed committed a crime in public prosecution and acquitted him.
