"From the meetings I held in Ukraine - and there were many of them, both at the central level and at the level of one region - it became clear that the most important thing for the successful defense of Ukraine today is ammunition," Pavel noted.

According to him, Ukraine is experiencing an "acute shortage of ammunition" necessary for the country to counterattack against Russia and restore control over its territory.

"Of course, there is also a lack of equipment, but the critical shortage of ammunition not only limits Ukraine's ability to defend itself effectively, but also to a certain extent limits its ability to launch a successful counteroffensive.

And if they want to regain control over the occupied territory, which Russia has aggressively held for more than a year, then there really is no other way but a counteroffensive," he said.
