The four key items of law enforcement are "intersection Non-stop yielding pedestrians", "non-signalized intersections that fail to follow signs, markings, and signals to stop and then drive", "sidewalk illegal parking and illegal temporary parking", and "suppression of road obstacles", etc., the car is increased to the statutory fine The maximum penalty is 3,600 yuan, while the penalty for motorcycles is maintained at 1,200 yuan. It is hoped that through strong means, the people's awareness of law-abiding will be enhanced.

According to the Police Administration, from January to March 2012, the police agencies banned a total of 30,717 cases of "walking through pedestrian crossings, turning without pausing to let pedestrians or visually impaired people go first", an increase of 17,824 cases compared with 12,893 cases in the same period last year (+138 %), the intensity of law enforcement is gradually increasing, which also shows that the people's awareness of law-abiding needs to be strengthened.

The Police Department pointed out that in order to improve the safety of pedestrians, the Ministry of Transportation has recently revised the law. Starting from March 31, if a car passes a crosswalk without suspending to let pedestrians pass first, and if a car does not suspend to let pedestrians pass first when turning, it will be punished by the original small car 2,000 yuan and 2,800 yuan for large vehicles, all increased to 3,600 yuan according to the statutory maximum penalty, and 1,200 yuan for locomotives.

The Police Administration emphasized that starting from May 1st, the nationwide simultaneous "Continuous Law Enforcement for Pedestrians at Intersections" will be launched. In addition to the police stopping and checking, technology will also be used to enforce the law.
