Today, the Russians are improving the navigation equipment and guidance system of these missiles using an optical channel that can provide optical accuracy of up to 10 meters.

Aviation expert Valery Romanenko told about it,

According to him, the second division of the Patriot systems, transferred to Ukraine by the allies, took over combat duty.

It will become a powerful reinforcement for the protection of Ukrainian cities from Russian missile attacks.

It is noted that today the Russians are improving the navigation equipment and guidance system of these missiles.

"For Patriot air defense, the Russian Kh-101 and Kh-555 missiles are not a difficult target. It is precisely these missiles that the Patriot specializes in best. It shoots down such objects from the longest range, as soon as they are detected, if they go at a sufficient height, the Patriot can get for 160 kilometers," the expert emphasized.

Now the Russians, using missiles, lower their flight altitude and use the topography of the area, riverbeds, ravines, and hide behind the hills.

"But if the Patriot has already seen this missile, if it has escorted it, it will not escape in any way," Romanenko summarized.

We will remind you that

the Russian army is unlikely to be able to restore the number of long-range missiles

it had before the full-scale war.
