President Volodymyr Zelenskyi reacted to the massive night attack of the Russian army on the night of April 28.

He called Russia a terrorist state and emphasized that "we will not let any occupier escape responsibility."

The head of state wrote about this on the Internet.

According to Zelenskyi, Russian rockets damaged about 10 apartment buildings in Uman, Cherkasy region.

In one high-rise building, the entrance was completely destroyed.

"This night, the enemy again attacked Ukraine with missiles and UAVs. The targets of the terrorists are civilians and objects. As a result of the missile attack on Uman, about 10 apartment buildings were damaged. People remain under the rubble. Unfortunately, there are injured and dead, among them a child. In On Dnipro, terrorist shelling took the life of a child. My condolences to all those who lost their relatives and loved ones due to Russian terror," the president's post reads.

Zelensky emphasized that the terror of the Russian Federation will receive a fair response from Ukraine and the world for its actions.

He also thanked the Ukrainian military for protecting Ukrainians.

"Every such attack, every evil against our country and people only brings the terrorist state closer to failure and punishment, and not the other way around, as they think. We will not forget any crime, we will not allow any occupier to escape responsibility," the Ukrainian president emphasized.
