Kazakhstan has ratified the agreement on the border regime with Turkmenistan.

APA reports with reference to the press service of the Office of the President of Kazakhstan (Ak Orda) that the relevant decree was signed by President Kasim-Jomart Tokayev.

According to the information, Tokayev signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On approval of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Turkmenistan on the regime of the Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan state border".

It should be noted that the said Agreement was signed in 2021 and regulates the relations between the two countries in several directions.
