Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on London to take the lead in creating an "air coalition" for Kiev.

APA reports with reference to the press service of the Ukrainian President's office that the Ukrainian leader said this in a meeting with Timothy Barrow, the national security adviser of the Prime Minister of Great Britain, in Kyiv.

The parties discussed increasing defense support to Ukraine, and Zelensky also noted the importance of supplying the country with Western-made military aircraft.

During the meeting, they also discussed the issues of preparation for the NATO summit to be held in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania in July this year.

The information also says that the Chief of Staff of the British Armed Forces, Admiral Tony Radakin, and the British Prime Minister's assistant for military affairs, Jamie Norman, took part in the meeting.
