When she went to deal with it, the Environmental Protection Agency said that the fish were stranded and died due to the heavy rain last week when the sluice gate was closed in advance. She asked that the water quality should not be ignored, and should be tested and sampled to clarify.

Zhang Fenyu said that after receiving the report, he went to the scene to inspect and found that many fish had turned over and died in the waste river. He emphasized that if fish schools die inexplicably in the river, it may be that the water quality is polluted by toxic substances, or the dissolved oxygen in the water is caused by factories and people's livelihood wastewater. Insufficient and sudden death, requires the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau not to ignore, should detect and investigate to clarify.

The inspection team of the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau stated that because the management unit closed the sluice gate before the heavy rain last week, the fish were stranded and died after the water receded. The River Bureau hastily dispatched personnel to remove the fish carcasses, and will also collect water and send the dead fish for inspection to find out whether it is water pollution.
