Russian security forces have discovered a drone armed with explosives in a wooded area northeast of Moscow, DPA reported, citing Russian state news agency TASS.

According to the report, the drone broke in two.

"The remains of the drone are currently being examined to determine who launched it and where it was flying," a security spokesman said.

There are several potential military targets in the area around Moscow, DPA noted, quoted by BTA. 

A Ukrainian UJ-22 airborne drone stuffed with explosives fell in the Moscow region.
