The "cotton season" in Crimea and the drone near Moscow show that the Russians cannot control their airspace.

This was stated by a military expert, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan in an interview with TSN.ua.

"The Ukrainian drone can really carry about 20 kg of explosives, depending on the amount of fuel. It can fly more than a thousand km. Therefore, it will definitely be enough to reach Moscow if the task is set. That is why our speakers are right: it is time to prepare not only for Crimea. It is necessary for the Russian military to prepare objects in the radius of damage of our drones, which is more than 1,000 km," says the expert.

According to Svitan, drone strikes on objects in the Russian Federation are a preparation for offensive actions.

The expert also answered whether the Russian Federation can cover its entire territory with air defense systems: "It is unrealistic to completely cover Russia, as before the USSR, with air defense. Moscow was covered from the southwest direction, no more. This requires thousands, or even tens of thousands, of anti-aircraft missile systems. This is unreal. That's why our drones feel at home in the Russian sky."

We will remind, on the night of Monday, April 24, explosions rang out in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine said that these explosions indicate "the beginning of the liberation of Crimea."

Meanwhile, two drones have already been spotted in Moscow today.

In connection with this, the airspace over Vnukovo airport was closed in Moscow.
