A unit of occupiers numbering about 300 arrived in the city of Skadovska in the Kherson region captured by the Russian army — all of them ex-convicts.

This was reported in the evening briefing of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The message states that former Russian "convicts" are supposed to ensure law and order in the temporarily occupied city.

"At the same time, it is known that some combat units that were previously in the city are gradually being withdrawn from the settlement to the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea," the General Staff noted.

According to the information of the Ukrainian military, rumors are spreading among the occupiers about a quick end to hostilities with territorial concessions in favor of the Russian Federation, probably to raise the spirits of the invaders.

It will be recalled that the Russian army mainly uses air attacks for shelling the Kherson region.

The occupiers launch guided aerial bombs.
