The full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine affected the sexual health of Russian men - many of them developed problems with potency due to stress.

As reported by Russian publications, the demand for aphrodisiacs has increased significantly in the aggressor state.

According to the all-Russian "Chestny Znak" system, in the first three months of 2023, the sale of drugs that increase sexual desire and "male strength" increased by 39%.

Statistics show that during this time, Russians bought 2.7 million packages of various aphrodisiacs, spending 1.8 billion rubles on them.

Thus, 392 packs of such drugs fell on one thousand adult men currently living in Russia.

The demand for aphrodisiacs broke all previous records, and they were most often bought in Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, the Krasnodar region, and the Magadan region.

The reason for problems with potency in Russians may be the stress they are experiencing after a full-scale war against Ukraine, in particular, due to mobilization.

"The sexual sphere is very sensitive to stress.

On the one hand, sex is one of the best ways to deal with it, but on the other hand, sexual function decreases with anxiety," the doctors note.

It will be recalled that Russia had a huge gender imbalance before the invasion of Ukraine.

Demographers say the results of the 2021 census will show that there are 10.5 million more women than men in Russia.

The war unleashed by Putin in Ukraine will further reduce the birth rate in the Russian Federation.
