Finland will send a new, fifteenth package of military aid to Kiev worth 78 million euros, TASS reported today, citing a statement by the Finnish Ministry of Defense.
"The value of Finland's military expenditure on the equipment included in this package is estimated at 78 million euros," the ministry document said.
It specified that the package includes various types of weapons that will help implement the European Military Assistance Mission in support of Ukraine to train 30,000 Ukrainian soldiers.
The training provides for the basic and specialized training of military personnel.
The total value of aid provided by Helsinki to Kyiv to date is estimated at 990 million euros.
"Ukraine needs various types of support. We participate in the EU training mission, train Ukrainian soldiers and provide the necessary material assistance," said Finland's Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen.
