[Reporter Chen Yun/Taipei Report] Lin Jialong, Secretary-General of the Presidential Office, posted on Facebook today that with the support of President Tsai Ing-wen and the supervision of Vice President Lai Qingde, the 7th Taiwan Green Legislator will take over from former chairman Su Jiaquan. The new chairman of the alliance will continue to work together to strengthen Taiwan's democratic line in the future.

The alliance is composed of hundreds of former and current legislators who love Taiwan and protect local values, regardless of party affiliation, including President Tsai and Lai Qingde.

The Taiwan Green League of Legislators held its 7th general meeting and re-election of directors and supervisors yesterday. Hundreds of retired legislators from all over Taiwan attended the meeting, including former Minister of the Interior Xu Guoyong, former legislator Liao Benyan, the founding chairman of the Green League, and others.
