some areas of Kyiv region remain flooded

Vyshgorod district 

The situation with the natural disaster remains tense in

Ivankiv

, in the Vyshgorod district.

Due to prolonged rainfall,

the dam

of the local pond was washed away,

the streets were flooded

with water .

A temporary crossing was also flooded in the village due to the flood.

Therefore, the detour to Ivankovo ​​is temporarily carried out through the village of Kukhari.

Buchansky district

In the Buchan district of the Kyiv region , the Bucha and Irpin rivers

overflowed their banks

, and their floodplains are now flooded.

There are risks of flooding of floodplain areas, possible partial flooding of low-lying areas of garden and country buildings, homesteads mainly in riverside settlements, the Buchansk City Council reported.

The heightened danger will remain in place until at least April 17.

We will remind that on Monday, April 17, Ukraine will continue to be flooded with rain.

The "UkrHydromet Center" predicts that there will be precipitation in the western and southern regions, the rest of the territory will be dry.

Heavy rains with thunder are expected in the west.
