As of the morning of April 16, the number of flooded households in Ukraine has increased to more than 900, rescuers continue to provide assistance to people in the disaster zone.

This is reported by the State Emergency Service.

"916 households (gardens, yards) remain flooded, 225 houses are flooded, 187 of them are summer houses. 10,747 hectares of agricultural land are flooded in the Volyn, Rivne, and Cherkasy regions," the report says.

Rescuers continue to help people overcome the consequences of spring flooding.

"Since the beginning of the works, more than 24.1 tons of drinking water and 260 kilograms of food products have been delivered for the needs of the affected population, 1,344 people have been transported through water obstacles, 22 citizens have been evacuated, and 10,570 cubic meters of water have been pumped out," the message reads.

We will remind, as of the morning of April 15, 

a seasonal rise in the water level was recorded 

within the boundaries of the Dnipro, Desna, Seim, Pripyat, Horyn and Zahidny Bug rivers in the territories of the Volyn, Kyiv, Rivne, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions.
