Ukraine is still waiting for the delivery of F-16 fighters.

If the Allies make such a decision, it will take only a week for the delivery of planes with an American crew.

Military expert Roman Svitan told about it.

"MiGs were handed over to us by Slovakia and Poland supplied a part. There are MiGs left that were handed over by Germany at one time to the Poles, so they should request permission for the handover. I think this issue will be resolved," the expert believes.

Despite this, in his opinion, fighters will not solve the problem in the air, even if they are all transferred.

"They will not restore our losses for the past year, that is, the MiG-29 alone from the last millennium. We need F-16s. If Shmyhal had brought a pair of F-16s instead of two stickers, it would have been better, of course," the military expert noted. Roman Svitan.

In addition, he says that a pair of F-16s with missiles that can reach 150-180 kilometers would drive off the Russian planes.

However, it takes 3-6 months to train the Ukrainian crew for the F-16.

"If the decision is made to work with our pilots, it will take three months. It takes at least 3-6 months to retrain the flight crew to perform combat missions on the F-16," the expert concluded.
