In the Poltava region, the district court acquitted a man who was accused of rape by his former lover and her minor daughter. 

This is stated in the verdict of the Shischatsky district court of the Poltava region. 

At the court, investigative bodies reported that the girl, in the presence of her mother, told them about

However, the suspect categorically denied everything.

He said that he started living with the applicant when his stepdaughter was only 7 months old.

At the age of 5, the girl found out that she was not his own daughter, and therefore allegedly began to ignore his upbringing.

Later, the couple had two more children, but he was not officially their father. 

In 2020, his ex-wife wanted to move to the Donetsk region, but the husband categorically refused.

And they say, then the woman began to threaten him that

and limit communication with him. 

The man claims that the minor child's statement that he raped her while his wife was giving birth to the children is false, as he was in labor at the time.

The suspect insisted that he never got attached to the girl, and that she could be forced to say such a thing by her mother, who had a great influence on her daughter. 

The mother of the injured girl claimed in court that they had an almost perfect family, but the husband

than his stepdaughter.

When the child told her that she and her

, she suspected sexual violence and the daughter allegedly confirmed it, so she turned to the police.

She also insisted that her daughter had a diary in which she recorded the days when her husband raped her, but she did not show it to the investigation

The minor explained in court that she allegedly had sexual relations with her stepfather, in particular, the man "pushed his genital organ into her mouth", forced her to have anal sex and touched her genitals.

However, she noticed that the girl did not really want to come home from school and explained that if her mother was at work, the

Also, the witness believes that the schoolgirl was often entrusted with caring for younger children.

The teacher never noticed changes in the girl's behavior. 

The examination checked the child's clothes and found no evidence that the stepfather could have raped her, and there were

in a natural or unnatural way.

The court drew attention to the fact that the child was confused in the testimony and recalled 3 out of 16 cases of violence, which also caused doubts in the judge due to disagreements.

The judge believes that the mother could have put pressure on the child.

The court also took into account the fact that the child's mother contacted the police

.

The man agreed to hand over his clothes to the investigation, in which he allegedly committed lewd acts, and no signs of his guilt were found on them.

The court noted that if the suspect was guilty, he would have had time to wash everything to hide the traces of the crime. 

And therefore the district court completely

He also refused to compensate his ex-wife for moral damages.

The court decision can still be appealed.
