The father of the girl with the anti-war poster ,

Aleksei Moskalev

, who was detained in Belarus, was extradited to Russia from prison No. 8 in Zhodzin.

This was reported by the human rights project "OVD-Info" on April 12.

The story began with the fact that

Masha Moskalyova,

a sixth-grader from the town of Yefremov, Tula region, drew an anti-war picture at school a year ago.

In the social networks of her parents, Aleksei Moskalev, they found a comment "discrediting the army".

As a result, the girl was placed in a shelter, and a criminal case was opened against the man and he was sent under house arrest.

On March 28, Moskalyov was sentenced to two years in prison.

But he did not show up for the announcement, because he escaped from house arrest the day before.

Two days later he was detained in Minsk.

Meanwhile, Masha was taken from the shelter by her mother, with whom the girl had not communicated for a long time.

After the verdict, the head of Wagner's PMC Yevhen Prigozhin interceded for Moskalyov, and Russian pro-government Telegram channels wrote about a possible review of the case, but the situation has not improved yet.

Last week, human rights activists from the "Memorial" center and the "OVD-Info" project appealed to the European Commission and the Council of Europe with a call to pay attention to the criminal prosecution of Aleksei Moskalev.

The authors of the letter ask the international authorities to use all available means to prevent the extradition of Moskalev from the Republic of Belarus to Russia.

Human rights defenders also noted that it is necessary to seek the transfer of Moskalev to a third country - safe and ready to receive him.
