Nawazuddin has given his big property in the name of his brothers.

Mumbai:

The Bombay High Court on Wednesday directed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his brother Shamsuddin not to post anything against each other on social media.

The court said they should not post or upload any comments against each other on social media "to maintain fairness" and to make efforts to resolve mutual issues amicably.

48-year-old actor Nawazuddin has filed a defamation case against his brother for demanding damages of Rs 100 crore.

A single bench of Justice RI Chagla gave this instruction while hearing on it.

The bench directed the brothers to be present in its chamber along with their lawyers on May 3 to explore the possibility of an amicable settlement.

The actor's ex-wife Zainab is also named in the lawsuit, but on Wednesday, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's lawyer Abhinav Chandrachud told the court that the two are trying to resolve their issues amicably.

That's why the actor does not want to file a defamation case against him.

Advocate Rumi Mirza, appearing for Shamsuddin Siddiqui, told the court that due to the intervention of a division bench of the High Court, settlement talks are going on between Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his ex-wife.

With the help of this bench, a similar arrangement can be made between the brothers as well.

Chandrachud said that any dialogue between the brothers can begin only when Shamsuddin Siddiqui removes his defamatory post.

In which the actor has been allegedly called a "rapist and molester".

The court agreed to this and said that for any settlement the disputed comment would have to be removed.

Both the brothers will have to refrain from making any comments against each other on social media.

Justice Chagla said, “In view of the possibility of an amicable solution in view of the settlement talks, there will be no post against each other (social media).

No allegation will be made on each other.

This is to maintain equality between the parties, so that there is no further comment against each other."

Meanwhile, a division bench of Justice Revati Mohite Dere and Justice Sharmila Deshmukh was told on Wednesday that the differences between the actor and his ex-wife Zainab regarding the education of their two minor children have been resolved.

The court was told that the children were going back to Dubai for their schooling.

The bench was hearing a petition filed by Nawazuddin Siddiqui seeking a direction to Zainab to disclose the whereabouts of the two children.

The actor had claimed that Zainab had brought the children back to India without informing them and they are not going to school in Dubai.
