After deoccupation in April last year, the Chernobyl exclusion zone became a training area for our military.

Among the thick forests, fighters are setting up training grounds where they are preparing for future combat sorties, TSN reports.

Soldiers are taught to control their fear when a 40-ton tank is coming at them in order to be able to neutralize it.

"It's scary, but what can you say, you have to prepare for this.

It may crush, it may not crush, at that time you try not to work on emotions, but to work on mechanics," the instructor explains.

Likewise, stormtroopers are taught to work on mechanics, excluding any emotions.

According to the legend, the boys should attack the enemy's trenches, and then take the trophy BC and evacuate the wounded.

"The conditions are close to combat, we can see smoke and explosions here, and there are mannequins imitating the wounded and killed lying in the distance," says the commander of the combined forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Serhiy Naev.

Permanent teams of instructors provide additional psychological pressure to fighters.

"With our shouting, we confuse them, that is, despite the fact that we are shouting, they should pay first attention to their commander, this is how the division is coordinated," they say.

The final element of the exercise is a blind passage through a smoky trench and the occupation of a circular defense.

The vast majority of these fighters have already participated in combat operations, while some are preparing for the first rotation, but they are all working together.

The training ground itself and the exercises are constantly refined, adapting to changes in the enemy's tactics.

After training, units can defend and attack.

But the warriors hope that very soon they will have to use only the second skill in battles.
