Bakhmut

in Donetsk region, the most difficult situation in the combat zone has developed - the enemy has concentrated the largest number of forces and means there.

The occupiers are trying to destroy the city as much as possible, especially high-rise buildings, so that the ZSU has no shelter.

Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military-political commentator of the "Information Resistance" group, told about this on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel.

According to him, the Russian troops once again did not succeed in the very limits of the city, along Tchaikovsky Street.

And they could not cut the train tracks of the station.

Although the battles there are quite fierce.

"Positions change from hand to hand almost every hour. The situation along the contact line can change every few minutes. But in the last three days in Bakhmut, the Russian occupiers have not been able to make any serious progress. Mostly, positional battles continue for the preservation of logistics and the lack of prerequisites for operative or tactical encirclement of the city," the expert noted.

Avdiyivka is no less a hot spot on the front of Donetsk region, the battles there take place mainly in field conditions.

"Moreover, the first and second army corps of the so-called "LPR" and "DNR" take part in these battles. And they do not have sufficient resources to compensate for their losses, for example, like the Russian regular troops. In turn, when Pushylin ("head" of the self-proclaimed "DNR", - ed.) applies for a Russian landing party with equipment, then receives a refusal," Kovalenko said.

And Maryinka is a city that Russian troops have already almost completely destroyed.

"Why Maryinka in particular? The occupiers constantly see that some kind of "window of opportunity" opens for them in the most acute areas and directions. It was always a hot area. But after they saw this "window of opportunity" in the Avdiyivka area, they began put more pressure on Avdiivka. They ended up with, to put it mildly, such a mediocre result. That's why they are now concentrating their efforts on Maryinka. That is, for them, this landmark is constantly changing. Bakhmut is always at the peak of the intensity of hostilities, and in other directions, Avdiivka, Maryinka, Vugledar, they are trying to alternately increase the pressure," Kovalenko summarized.

We will remind you that

Russia continues to throw "cannon fodder" in attempts to seize Bakhmut.

The Armed Forces spoke about the situation in the city.

Military expert

Roman Svitan noted that Russian troops are ready to flee from Bakhmut

.

In particular, this is evidenced by the statement of the leader of the "Wagner" PMK Yevgeny Prigozhin that Ukraine has gathered up to 400,000 personnel for the upcoming counteroffensive.
