According to the channel, the incident happened on April 7.

In the evening, pensioner Lyudmila Oleksiivna was going to go to bed, but a neighbor called her at the door saying that the pensioner's granddaughter had taken her son's phone, which should be returned because the son is going crazy.

The son himself, 26-year-old Pavlo, ran into the victim's apartment.

He started shouting for his phone, and then started beating the pensioner.

According to the pensioner, Pavlo grabbed a knife from the kitchen and threatened to kill him.

He then ran for the flammable liquid and doused the carpet and bed linen before setting it on fire.

The woman managed to extinguish the flames.

Only the police could quell the debacle.
