In religious scriptures, Akshaya Tritiya is also called by the name of Ugadi Tithi.

On this day, Maa Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu are worshiped with complete rituals.

This year Akshaya Tritiya is falling on 22 April according to the Hindu calendar.

Akshaya Tritiya starting from Saturday, April 22, will remain till the next day, April 23, 2023.

The auspicious time of Akshaya Tritiya will start from 7.49 am on 22nd April and will continue till 7.47 am the next day.

In such a situation, worship can be done in this auspicious time. 

Akshaya Tritiya Puja Method 

Performing Puja on Akshaya Tritiya is considered very auspicious.

It is said that by worshiping on this day domestic troubles go away, happiness and prosperity comes in life and happiness comes.

Special blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu are also received by worshiping with complete rules and regulations. 

  • On the day of Akshaya Tritiya, one gets up early in the morning before sunrise to worship. 

  • After this they take bath and wear clean clothes. 

  • Many devotees also keep fast on this day and many worship Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi even without fasting. 

  • The temple of the house is cleaned and the lamp is lit. 

  • Now all the deities are worshiped by offering Gangajal. 

  • Mother Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu are worshipped, especially on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. 

  • To worship Goddess Lakshmi (Lakshmi Puja), red hibiscus flowers are offered in front of her and lotus or jasmine flowers are offered to Lord Vishnu. 

  • On this day, yellow colored fruits, sweets or kheer are offered as bhog.

    Everyone eats this as Prasad.
