Khandva:

A case of alleged mob lynching has come to light in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh.

In the case of the death of a young man due to the fear of theft, the family members have accused the villagers of mob lynching.

According to the information, some youths had reached Chhaigaondevi located some distance away from Khandwa.

One of them was found injured in the river near the village.

The young man died even before the police could bring him to the hospital.

Now the relatives are demanding an inquiry into the whole matter.

On the other hand, the police say that a theft report has also been registered from the villagers in the night itself, the whole matter is still under investigation.

The situation will be known only after the post-mortem. 

According to the information, the whole matter belongs to Chhaigaonmakhan police station area of ​​Khandwa district.

There has been a complaint in the police that 4 people had come to steal gram from a Patel of Chhoti Chhaigaon village.

Stole half the gram and left the other half.

The villagers woke up.

After this, the police got information that a young man was lying half dead on the bank of the river.

The police took him to the hospital.

Meanwhile the young man died.

At the same time, the family said in this matter that there was a gang fight with Sheikh Firoz.

He was hit so hard that he died.

The family said that some Patelos of the village have lodged a theft report against four people.

Of these, Sheikh Firoz was found half-dead and died.

While three others are missing.

The family alleges that Sheikh Firoz died due to the gang fight.

In this case, relatives gathered outside the post-mortem room of Khandwa district hospital and demanded action.

The police is currently denying mob lynching and is asking for an investigation into the entire matter.

Sheikh Anwar, the family of the deceased told that my brother had gone for a walk somewhere in the night but we got information in the night that a person named Chhitar Patel had filed a report of theft.

Anwar alleged that he first killed his brother and after killing him tied him up and threw him.

He said his other friend is still missing.

Anwar says that the deceased Firoz was alive when the police found him, other people brutally beat him up.

There was no place left on his body which did not have wounds, we do not know why he was killed.

Anwar said that even if my brother had committed theft, he would have caught him and handed him over to the police, what was the need to kill him like this.

The police should conduct an impartial investigation in this matter and take action. 

Here, DSP Headquarters Anil Chauhan told that four people had reached Chaigaondevi on Saturday night.

There, a complaint was received about the theft of gram crop kept in houses, on which an FIR has been registered at 3 o'clock in the night.

The investigation of this matter is going on.

Then at 6 in the morning, Dial-100 received an information that a person was lying in an injured state on the banks of the river outside Chhoti Chhaigaon.

Dial-100 took him to the hospital in an unconscious state, till then his name and address were not known.

When the injured youth was traced, it was found that the injured youth was identified as Sheikh Firoz, a resident of Khandwa.

Crime has also been registered against the deceased youth in different police stations of Khandwa.

His family members have also given an application.

At present, investigation is being done by establishing a marriage.
