At one of the cemeteries in Lublin, Poland, a woman heard a plea for help coming from a grave.

This is how the dramatic action to save the 60-year-old man began.

The woman came to visit the graves of her relatives.

Suddenly she heard a scream coming from the open grave.

There was a bloody man in the pit.

He was lying at a depth of about five meters, he had a leg injury.

As it turned out, a 60-year-old man was visiting his mother's grave, leaned on a cracked concrete slab and fell into the grave.

Concrete slab fragments fell on him from above.

Rescuers descended into the pit, bandaged the wound and pulled the victim to the surface.

A few minutes later, he was handed over to medics.
