The accused in the Nexo case have landed in Belgrade today, Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev announced to journalists, after they laid the first sod on the Star of David memorial on Vazrazhdane Square, which is in memory of the lawyers who saved the Bulgarian Jews.

In his statement to the media after the opening, Geshev spoke again about the ruin that has overtaken the Bulgarian state and the constitutional crisis.

He was adamant that those who should stabilize the state and take responsibility for it are holding the fifth election in a row.

Then it was announced that the Nexo defendants had arrived in Belgrade, where the former banker Tsvetan Vassilev has been living since 2014.

It is about Kosta Kanchev and Antoni Trenchev, who have been living in Dubai for years, but because of the investigation, they have been declared wanted.

The chief prosecutor joked that soon Krasimir Kamenov - Kuro, Vasil Bozhkov and other defendants may arrive there.

"They will surely make an operation," commented Geshev.

Earlier today, the prosecutor's office announced that the banker Tsvetan Vasilev, together with Kuro, were in a criminal group that agreed to remove magistrates and police officers.

"I will not allow magistrates and employees of the Ministry of the Interior to be threatened. If 400,000 leva or euros are given for the removal of a senior police officer, how much does it cost to remove the interior minister or the chief prosecutor," asked Geshev.
