The Republika Srpska will become an independent state, as in Bosnia and Herzegovina we cannot be part of regional initiatives that may benefit us, the President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said today, Tanjug reported.

Dodik pointed out that "Open Balkans" is a good initiative, but in Bosnia and Herzegovina they do not think so, although both the Republic of North Macedonia and Albania benefit from the initiative.

"Open Balkans" is a good initiative to which Bosnia and Herzegovina should join, the Serbian member of the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zelka Cvijanovic pointed out today.

"It is not clear why political Sarajevo rejects this initiative and there are other opinions on this issue from Republika Srpska," Cvijanovic said.

She pointed out that some people see "Greater Serbia" or "Greater Albania" in "Open Balkans", which, according to her, is a completely wrong interpretation, the Republika Srpska RTRS TV reported.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, they did not rule out the possibility of a referendum on the independence of Republika Srpska
