Recently, NASA reported that Earth may have a relatively close encounter with five asteroids that will make their closest approach to the planet in the coming days.

republicworld.com writes about it.

Although most asteroids burn up as soon as they enter the Earth's atmosphere, some of the larger asteroids that hit the planet can pose a serious threat to humans.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) recently reported that

Earth may have a relatively close encounter with five asteroids

that will approach the planet in the near future.

According to NASA, two asteroids had their closest encounters with the planet on Monday, April 3.

However, there is currently no official confirmation of this fact.

This comes after NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory indicated that Earth could witness some close encounters with asteroids in the coming days.

According to NASA's Asteroid Watch, which tracks asteroids and comets,

the next asteroid approaches will occur on the following days:

Asteroid 2023 FU6: A small 45-foot-long asteroid was scheduled to make its closest approach to Earth on April 3 at a distance of 1,870,000 km.

Asteroid 2023 FS11: The 82-foot-long airplane-sized asteroid was scheduled to fly past Earth at its closest distance of 6,610,000 km on April 3.

Asteroid 2023 FA7: On April 4, the 92-foot asteroid, the size of an airplane, made its closest approach to Earth at a distance of 2,250,000 km.

Asteroid 2023 FQ7: On April 5, the 65-foot asteroid, about the size of a house, made its closest approach to Earth at a distance of 5,750,000 km.

Asteroid 2023 FZ3: The largest asteroid of all mentioned,

about the size of an airplane, is expected to fly by Earth on April 6

.

This 150-foot rock is approaching Earth at a speed of 67,656 miles per hour and will make its closest approach to Earth at a distance of 4,190,000 km.

However, the asteroid is not considered a threat to the planet and should not cause any harm.

It will be recalled that American scientists have recorded that an Earth-like planet sends radio signals.
