The former vicar

of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra,

Metropolitan Pavel, was questioned for the first time as a suspect.

The lawyer stated that the metropolitan gave all the evidence that was of interest to the law enforcement officers.

This was reported in the press service of the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

"On April 4, the first questioning of Metropolitan Pavel as a suspect took place. His lawyer, priest Nikita Chekmen, said that the bishop gave a statement that was of interest to the investigation," the report says.

According to the lawyer, the defense has submitted a request for familiarization with the materials of the criminal proceedings.
