on April 5, the church of the Moscow Patriarchate on Taras Bobanych Street was transferred to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Lviv Regional Council Yuriy Kholod.  

Prior to that, the head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi, reported that the parishioners were making a decision to transfer to the OCU. 

"I hope that in the near future this church will become the Garrison Temple of the OCU," the message reads.

The mayor of Lviv, Andriy

Sadovy, said that one of the main churches of the UOC-MP in the city is planned to be nationalized if the priests do not transfer to the Ukrainian church.
