A Russian woman who lived in Kyiv promoted the "Russian peace" and justified the aggression of the Russian Federation.

This is reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.

The suspect has been living in Ukraine since 2021 and has a permanent residence permit.

According to the law enforcement officers, during the phone conversation with an acquaintance, the woman supported the actions of the aggressor state.

She also categorically denied and justified the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

This fact was discovered during the documentation of another crime related to the receipt of illegal benefits by a former People's Deputy of Ukraine.

The suspect turned out to be his acquaintance.

"In September 2022, the indictment against the former elected official was referred to the court, and the materials against the woman were allocated to a separate criminal proceeding," the prosecutor's office said.

The conclusion of the forensic linguistic examination confirmed that the suspect's statements contained denials and justifications of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Currently, the issue of selecting a preventive measure for the woman is being resolved.

Earlier in Odesa, law enforcement officers detained a Putin supporter who was waiting for the "Russian measure".

It was also reported that in Lviv the SBU detained a "replaced woman" who leaked data to the occupiers.
