noted that Deputy Prime Minister Pekanov and Minister Hristov are in constant contact with the European Commission and, despite the complexity of the negotiations, both are making serious and consistent efforts to present to Brussels all the arguments of our country on this issue.

The Prime Minister pointed out that in the next three weeks the Commission expects the government to present concrete proposals and steps to increase green energy in our energy mix.

KNSB: There is a cartel not only in retail chains, but also in other sectors

Prime Minister Donev pointed out that the balance is being sought in which to move towards a cleaner environment, while at the same time preserving jobs and the quality of life of people in the coal regions, as well as preserving Bulgaria's position on the energy map in Europe. 

The Minister of Energy Rosen Hristov

Rosen Hristov, a master of international economic relations from the University of California, introduced the representatives of the trade unions to the talks he had in Brussels last week.

According to him, our European partners positively accept the concept of integrating the projects under the PES, the new RepowerEU program and the territorial plans into a common goal for a green transition.

Minister Hristov assured that work continues on the concrete steps that Bulgaria must present to Brussels as soon as possible.

For their part, the unions expressed support for the position of the official cabinet in the negotiations with the Commission and declared their readiness to continue their constructive cooperation with the government on this important issue for our country.
