The reserve

"Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

" appealed to the court due to the opposition of the UOC MP in the transfer of property, they do not allow the commission.

What should be the next step in order to solve this issue without succumbing to the provocations of those people who are currently going to the Lavra.

Oleksandr Tkachenko, the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, spoke about all the nuances on the air of the Rada channel during the telethon.

On Friday, we submitted a statement to the commercial court regarding the obstruction of the state in the management of property in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

I hope that in the near future the court will consider this issue and the bailiffs will do their job as required by law," he said.

Tkachenko also noted that in the Lavra itself there are quite different attitudes towards Metropolitan Pavel and his statements - there are people who support the transition of the Lavra into state management, they are ready to transfer to the OCU, there are people who look and hesitate, and there are people whom we all periodically seen on TV screens.

"Therefore, the most important thing for the state is to make sure that everything happens tolerantly, legally, transparently, without violence. The Moscow Patriarchate has no right to take out objects in the Lavra that belong to the state, museum objects. Our interdepartmental commission recorded all these objects in place two weeks ago, I made sure that they are there. The removal of objects that belong to the state is criminally responsible," the minister added.

We will remind

On March 10, the National Reserve "Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra" warned the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) about the termination of the agreement on the use of the Lower Lavra dated March 29 of this year.

However, the monks refused to leave the Lavra, and on March 31, the clergy of the UOC MP blocked the building of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and did not allow the commission of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy to enter there.

Oleksiy Danilov,

Secretary of the National Security Council,

called the resistance of the UOC-MP a provocation by the Kremlin.

He said that the FSB is working on the situation, and Russia wants to show Russians on television how Ukraine shows aggression towards representatives of the clergy.

On April 1, Metropolitan Pavlo Lebed of the UOC (MP), abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery, was charged by the Security Service of Ukraine under two articles of the Criminal Code.

The SBU suspects the metropolitan of the UOC (MP) of inciting interreligious enmity (Article 161 of the CCU) and justifying armed aggression by Russia (Article 436 of the CCU).

The Shevchenkiv District Court chose

a preventive measure

for the Metropolitan of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) Pavlo (Lebed) in the form of 60 days of house arrest with the obligation to wear an electronic bracelet.
