On the initiative of Ukraine, the first Black Sea Security Conference will be held in Bucharest.

APA reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine that the conference will be held jointly with Romania on April 12-13.


"This event is part of the International Crimean Platform, a mechanism aimed at the liberation of Crimea from occupation, restoration of the Black Sea, European and global security. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania and the Ministry of National Defense of Romania, Center for Defense Strategies (Ukraine ) will take place within the framework of partnership with


Ministers of foreign affairs and defense, heads of international institutions, government officials and independent experts representing the participants of the International Crimean Platform will take part in the conference.

They will analyze the multidimensional impact of Russia's large-scale war against Ukraine on the security situation in the Black Sea and Sea of ​​Azov regions and beyond, discuss possible strategies for responding to challenges and threats, as well as the pillars of the future configuration of the security system in the region," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.
