Taipower's Hsinchu District Sales Office stated that the accident was caused by the fault of the FQ06 feeder of six substations at 8:22 tonight, resulting in Guosheng Street, Xianzheng 9th Road, Fuxing Road, Zhongzheng Road, Zhubei City, Hsinchu County. A total of 4,642 households in the West Road and other areas were out of power. At present, 1,492 households have been restored, and the remaining 3,150 households are expected to resume normal power supply before 10:30 tonight.
