The number of dead as a result of a devastating tornado in the USA has increased to 32 people.

In some states, a state of emergency has been declared due to the effects of bad weather. 

This is reported by the Associated Press. 

According to updated data, the tornado destroyed homes and businesses and caused significant financial losses in 11 states.

As of now, the most victims in Tennessee - 15 dead.

The storm claimed many lives in the states of Indiana, Arkansas, Illinois, Alabama and Mississippi. 

Residents of the town of Winna, in the state of Arkansas, woke up on Saturday morning to see that the school roof was mutilated and the windows were broken.

Local woman Ashley McMillan said she, her husband, children and dogs hid from the tornado in the bathroom, praying and saying goodbye to each other.

A tree fell on their house, but in the end the whole family survived the storm unscathed. 

Earlier we reported that the city of Belvidere (Illinois) was covered by a tornado during a concert of a rock group at the Apollo Theater, which was attended by hundreds of people.

A 50-year-old man died due to the collapse of part of the roof, and another 40 people were injured.
