Alina Mykhaylova,

the fiancee of the Hero of Ukraine Dmytro Kotsyubail (

"Da Vinci")  , who is a paramedic, recalled the day when she lost her beloved and how she tried to save him.

She told about this in an interview with Front 18.

She said that

on March 6, the "Da Vinci" group launched an assault in the Bohdanivka area, the fighters were 20 meters away from the Russian positions.

The next day, March 7, the girl went to work, which starts very early for them.

That day, according to her, was calm, until she received a radio message

about a seriously wounded soldier.

"I'm right and he says: 'We have a heavy 300th.' I knew right away that it was Da Vinci. No one told me that. It was an internal feeling. I just felt it. I sit on the table like that and I say: "Now we're leaving." To me "Marik", the anesthesiologist says: "Get ready." I tell him: "I felt that it was Da Vinci."

To which he said: "Don't make it up," she recalls.

Alina had another walkie-talkie, but she was afraid to call Da Vinci, because she guessed that he would not be able to get in touch.

But still she did it, "Da Vinci" did not come out.

"I'm sure it's "Da Vinci". I had a tremor. My crew comes out to me and he shouts to me: "Alina, Alina, "da Vinci" is the heavy 300th!". And at that moment, everything was over for me my life. I sit down like this and I say: "For the first time, I don't know how I'm going to work." They take him out to us on a gurney. I just see it... I just... Of course I start throwing tantrums, I start

kicking this car, I start beating "Kapusta"

(a sibling of "Da Vinci". - Ed.). Because "Da Vinci" simply has his hands down, he is completely unconscious," Alina said.

The beloved approached "Da Vinci", opened one eye and saw his pupil.

Then she excitedly asked his brothers: "Is he dead?".

To which he said no.

After that, she asked to connect the monitor, which showed zero.

The medic, together with her crew, tried to resuscitate the seriously injured Hero of Ukraine, pumped

a bag of ambu, prepared the necessary drugs, while the anesthesiologist performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

"I remember this day every day. I probably have never wished anyone in my life to say goodbye to my loved one like this. Everything is covered in blood, I cover his eyes, wipe them with napkins. While rescuing him, I read the prayer "Our Father" for the first time and I ask the only - to leave this person disabled, but to keep him alive. But that didn't happen," Alina recalled with tears in her eyes.

In Kramatorsk, doctors saved him for another 40 minutes.

They really did everything they could, said the beloved "Da Vinci".
