Voter turnout in the 23rd MIR in Sofia was 8.27 percent as of 11:00 a.m., Polina Vitanova, secretary of the 23rd Regional Election Commission, told BTA.

34,984 people exercised their right to vote among over 400,000 voters.

The 23rd MIR includes the regions "Izgrev", "Krasno selo", "Lozenets", "Mladost", "Pancharevo", "Studentski" and "Triaditsa", the sectional election commissions are 603, of which six are mobile and 24 - official .

For comparison to the last early parliamentary elections on October 2, 2022, the voter turnout at 11:00 a.m. was 8.38 percent.

In the 24th MIR, the voter turnout at 11:00 a.m. was 6.75 percent.

The 24th MIR includes the regions "Vazrazhdane", "Iskar", "Kremikovtsi", "Oborishte", "Poduyane", "Serdika", "Slatina" and "Sredets".

There are 499 polling stations, of which six are official - in medical facilities and in the Central Prison.

There will be six mobile sectional election commissions.

In the 25th MIR, 31,861 people or 8.96 percent of the voters cast their vote, which is a total of 355,699 entitled to vote, announced Violeta Temelkova, president of RIC.

She said five machines were not working and voting was going through paper ballots.

The 25th MIR includes the administrative districts "Bankya", "Vrabnitsa", "Ilinden", "Krasna Polyana", "Lyulin", "Nadezhda", "Novi Iskar" and "Ovcha Kupel".

There are about 350,000 voters who will be able to vote in a total of 505 sections.
