Ashok Gehlot appealed to the doctors to end the strike.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday alleged that a "lobby" linked to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was instigating and misleading private doctors protesting against the Right to Health Bill in the state.

He said that due to this the patients are facing problems.

The protesting doctors have claimed that the implementation of the law will hinder their smooth functioning and increase the interference of local authorities.

When asked about the doctors' strike, the chief minister told reporters here that under the bill people have been given the right to get free health services up to Rs 25 lakh and the government will pay for the treatment.

He appealed to the doctors to end the strike.

Gehlot said, “Everyone agreed on the recommendations given by the doctors to the Finance Secretary, but later some four-five doctors associated with the RSS raised objections.

It is not an allegation but a fact that they are RSS people.

He also said, "The four-five people associated with the RSS, who misled the doctors, are traitors." The chief minister claimed that two people came from Delhi and asked to meet him.

Gehlot said, “They were sent to Finance Secretary Akhil Arora, but instead of meeting the secretary, both went to the Governor.

They returned to Delhi after misleading the doctors here." He claimed that both the people from Delhi were associated with the RSS.
