The first days of April will be accompanied by a powerful geostorm due to

a giant hole

formed in the Sun.

Sciencealert.com writes about it.

The K-index 4 magnetic storm that began on March 31 will continue into April, and the geomagnetic storm will not subside until April 3.

The next burst of solar activity should be expected on April 10 and 11.

It will not be too strong, but it can become noticeable for weather-dependent people and people with chronic diseases.

Next, the geostorm will cover the Earth again on April 16 and 17.

It will be of medium strength.

A really strong magnetic storm will last from April 20 to 21.

Sensitive people should prepare to protect their health.

Magnetic storms

are disturbances of the Earth's geomagnetic field of varying intensity that can last from several hours to several days.

Such events can affect the operation of communication systems and lead to technical failures.
