[Reporter Ge Youhao/Kaohsiung Report] The 2023 Dagang Concert came to a wonderful conclusion last night. Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Qimai quietly appeared at the venue in light attire to visit his old friend "Fire Extinguisher" Orchestra to perform.

Since its opening in 2006, Dagang Concert has become an iconic music festival with the most well-known brand in Taiwan, the largest scale, and a lineup dominated by performances in southern Taiwan.

This year, on April 1 and 2, it was held in Kaohsiung for two consecutive days. Tens of thousands of music fans flocked to the Kaohsiung Pop Music Center and the Pier-2 Art Zone.

Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Qimai went to the venue to enjoy the performance of the "Fire Extinguisher" band together with Freddy Lin, the lead singer of "Shining Orchestra" and announced that he would not run for re-election as a legislator. Many young fans rushed to take photos with Chen Qimai.
