President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi had a telephone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron on April 1.

The Ukrainian leader published the details of the conversation on the Internet.

"During an hour-long conversation with Emmanuel Macron, the defense cooperation between Ukraine and France was discussed objectively and effectively. He was informed in detail

. They focused on further steps to implement the #PeaceFormula," Zelenskyi said in a message.

He added that he coordinated actions with Macron in the context of upcoming international events.

We will remind that Macron together with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen will visit China in the first week of April.

The main purpose of the visit is negotiations on the topic of Russia's war against Ukraine.

Note that the day before, the Wall Street Journal reported in its article that political leaders in the West are beginning to have a clearer idea of ​​how to end the war in Ukraine, but they lack a corresponding plan.

Western leaders hope that the superiority of the Armed Forces on the battlefield will push the Russian Federation to peace negotiations.
