The work of the Ukrainian defenders on the Kinburn spit in the south is productive, in particular, the enemy is already experiencing "shell hunger" there and is reducing the number of shelling from this direction.

Nataliya Gumenyuk, head of the joint coordination press center of the Southern Defense Forces, told about this on the air of the telethon.

"Our productive work on the Kinburn spit has good results, in particular, during the past day there was not a single shelling even in the water area of the Dnieper estuary. This indicates that the enemy really has a significant hunger for ammunition in that part of the area, it is difficult for them to pull up reserves there even now that we are trying to take under control not only parts of the peninsula itself, but also connections with the mainland — where the enemy uses these routes to bring up ammunition and weapons," Humenyuk said.

According to her, the western part of the Kinburn Spit, which has been used up by the Armed Forces, is already quite deserted, but closer to the mainland, they are still hiding behind the local population.

At the same time, the Ukrainian military continues to work against the Russians in that area.

We will remind, the colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the reserve, military expert Roman Svitan believes that the rotation of Russians in Novaya Kakhovka is actually a departure of the occupiers, and with looted property.
