[Reporter Hong Ruiqin/Tainan Report] The maiden charter flight from Tainan to Sendai, Japan took off today (1). Mayor Huang Weizhe led a city government team to visit Sendai and other places to market Tainan.

Huang Weizhe expressed the hope that through the launch of the charter flight, closer exchanges between southern Taiwan and the northeastern region of Japan will be brought about.

Huang Weizhe said in an interview in Sendai that since Tainan and Sendai established friendship cities in 2006, exchanges in economy, culture, and agricultural products have been quite frequent. Even during the epidemic, Sendai City also assisted Tainan in marketing in Japan. For such a deep friendship, we must personally thank you in person.
