Russia will chair the UN Security Council until April 2023.

In particular, it will change Mozambique.

Note that the composition of the Council consists of 10 rotating and five permanent members, including Russia, which has the right of veto.

"Russia will assume the chairmanship of the Security Council under the terms of the rotation in April," the message reads.

The upcoming presidency of Russia in

the UN Security Council,

which begins on Saturday, April 1, and will last for a month, was called "a bad joke" by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba.

Earlier, the permanent representative

of the Russian Federation at the UN

stated that residential buildings in the cities of Ukraine were being destroyed by Ukrainian air defense missiles.
