Cyberabad police gave information about this on Saturday. 

Police has said in a press release that data of students of education-technology organizations has been received from accused Vinay Bhardwaj.

The accused Vinay Bhardwaj was arrested by the police on Friday.

The police have said that some of the important data possessed by the accused include details of defense personnel, government employees, PAN card holders, students of class 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th, senior citizens, electricity consumers of Delhi, D-MAT account holders, various individuals, NEET candidates, etc. Data and mobile numbers of students, affluent individuals, insurance holders, credit card and debit card holders are included.

Police seized two mobile phones and two laptops and over 100 categories of data containing sensitive information of government, private organizations and individuals.

The accused was operating through a website 'InspireWebz' in Haryana's Faridabad and was selling data to customers through 'cloud drive links'.
