According to him, the Ministry of Health has not changed the rules for dispensing drugs, and no new drugs have entered the prescription group.

Lyashko says that the electronic prescription for the "Affordable Medicines" program has been working in the country for more than three years.

"We introduced an additional service that appeared - an electronic prescription. All other rules of discharge, the control that existed in the pre-war period, remain today. Nothing has changed regarding the strengthening of control of discharge," said the head of the Ministry of Health.

Lyashko noted that in May 2022, the Ministry of Health removed the prescription leave completely for all medicines in order to deal with the chaotic situation associated with the war.

When the system logistics in the pharmacy network stabilized in August, the effect of the resolution on the over-the-counter supply of antibiotics was canceled and an additional service - an electronic prescription - was launched.

"That is, for more than half a year, an electronic prescription has been working in the country together with a paper one for antibiotics and the "Affordable Medicines" program. In November, we will cancel the effect of the resolution on non-prescription dispensing of narcotic drugs and also launch an additional service," the Minister of Health emphasized .

According to Lyashko, the Ministry of Health was preparing an electronic database for establishing a register of prescription drugs in a digital format, so that the entire group of prescription drugs could be launched using an electronic prescription.
