Bhopal :

36 people died when the roof of the ancient stepwell caved in during the Havan organized on the occasion of Ram Navami on Thursday at Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal Temple in Patel Nagar, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

The relatives of 9 people who lost their lives in this accident have donated the eyes and skin of the deceased.

Out of these, the eyes of all nine people were donated, while the relatives of four people have set an example by taking the decision of skin donation along with eye donation. 

The relatives of Madhu Bhasmani, Bharti Kukreja, Kanak Patel, Lakshmi Ben Patel and Daksha Ben Patel, who lost their lives in the accident, decided to donate their eyes, while the families of Bhumika Khanchandani, Jayantibai, Nitin Gangwal and Indra Kumar Harwani donated skin along with eyes. also decided to

The incident happened on Thursday around 11.30 am.

An FIR has been registered under section 304 against Shri Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal Mandir Trust President and former councilor Sewaram Galani and secretaries Shrikant Patel and Kumar Sabnani regarding this accident.

Along with this, judicial inquiry has been ordered in the matter.  

Significantly, in the Beleshwar Mahadev temple built in a garden in Indore, the step well of the well was illegally covered with a cement slab and a Havan Kund was made on it.

The victims of the accident were performing Havan, when suddenly this slab fell in the well.
